We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced finance professional to join On in the team of Global Operations Finance to oversee Costs from Production to Distribution (COGS) in our dynamic sporting industry.The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing the financial performances related to the operations within sourcing, inbound and customs workstreams. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, cost analysis, financial reporting, standard price settings and variance price management.The business partnership with the key operational stakeholders will be crucial to strive the operations towards the most profitable decisions. In the role, the person will contribute to make sure that On products get to the right place at the right time, for the right cost.

Your Mission

• Be the Global Finance Partner to Sourcing, Inbound and Customs operational teams. Interpret financial volatility, develop appropriate corrective actions and understand cost of goods sold trends and impacts.
• Collaborate with senior management to develop strategies for optimizing COGS while maintaining product quality and competitiveness in the market.
• Secure sourcing prices to convert target margins.
• Contribute to the intercompany pricing strategy setting proper prices for buying volumes.
• Own the ERP (MS Dynamics 365) System for Cost controlling, Standard Costing implementation and maintenance, and the Consolidation tool with Transfer Pricing.
• Identify and implement operational improvements, harmonize and standardize activities and implement digital solutions to increase efficiency.
• Lead cross functional teams to achieve overall profit company objectives.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including COGS variance analysis, to provide insights into business performance and facilitate decision-making.
• Continuously evaluate and improve COGS-related processes and systems to streamline operations, enhance productivity, and optimize resource allocation
• Shine a light on all key Global Operations metrics, including COGS, Inbound, and Customs also supporting Inventory controlling.
• Ensure compliance with finance accounting policies & internal controls, support internal/external audit cycles.
• Foster a culture of excellence and accountability.
