Temporary HR project & process manager (50-60%)

Mikron is a world-renowned company in the high-end machinery industry and we are looking for temporary HR support until the end of 2024 with the possibility of a permanent position.

in Ticino or the French-speaking part of Switzerland. Until the end of 2024, you will be supporting the HR project manager with various exciting group-level HR projects, with a focus on designing HR processes, acting as project support and helping to develop impactful change management & communication initiatives.

As of 2025, there is the possibility of joining Mikron as part of the future Mikron HR organization at one of our Swiss locations. You will continue to support group-level activities as an HR process owner, but also take over a role in the local HR team.

What you can look forward to:

  • We offer a dynamic, open and fun collaboration with the Group HR project manager and CHRO
  • You support (or lead) HR projects (HR process harmonization, change management initiatives, HR digitalization plan) in collaboration with the Senior HR Project Manager (based in Zurich)
  • You play a key role in supporting the further development, optimization and digitalization of HR processes in close cooperation with international interfaces
  • Thanks to your strong organizational skills and detail orientation, you ensure smooth project reporting
  • Your creative side allows you to write impactful presentation and communication materials
  • With your open manner and expertise, you are the first point of contact for local HR teams when it comes to questions about the HR projects

What you bring along:

This is an unusual and exciting position, as you will be supporting the HR project manager with group-level projects to create solutions for the local HR teams. So this role is ideal for somebody who appreciates working independently at home but with a strong connection to the project team.

We envisage this position for a person who has completed their initial education and has gained a few years of hands-on experience in HR topics and the knowledge create a positive HR process experience.

  • You enjoy bringing structure to dynamic situations and have an eye for detail while keeping a big picture overview
  • With strong conceptual, analytical and creative thinking skills, you are always able to find practicable solutions, rethink existing processes and develop innovative solutions
  • Your passion for people topics, new technologies, HR digitization and process optimization drive your work to provide a positive employee experience
  • You are fluent in English as well as French and/ or Italian (depending on your location), German is an asset
  • You are flexible and willing to travel within Switzerland (and possibly abroad) to participate in various meetings
